Child safety standards

Swoon, by Vishnu V · Last updated 17 October 2026

Swoon has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards and how to report a concern.

Who Swoon is for

Swoon is an AI texting assistant for adults aged 18 and over. It suggests replies to conversations you are already having. It isn't directed to children, and our Terms require users to be at least 18.

Swoon has no profiles, matching, feeds or messaging between its users. Users can't find, contact or share content with each other through Swoon.

What is prohibited

How to report a concern

Please don't attach or forward abuse material itself. Describe what you saw, and where and when you saw it.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first. In India, you can also report at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930. In the US, report to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.

What we do with a report

  1. We review every child safety report promptly and give it priority over other support requests.
  2. Where an account is involved, we disable it so it can no longer use Swoon's server, and delete its data held on our server, except what we must keep for the authorities.
  3. We report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the relevant authorities, including Indian law enforcement through the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal and, where it applies, NCMEC.
  4. We cooperate with law enforcement requests as the law requires.

How Swoon limits the risk

Compliance

Swoon complies with applicable child safety laws, including India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and follows the Google Play and App Store child safety policies.
